What We Collect

When you sign in, Oye Convo receives a stable account identifier and any name or email address your chosen provider makes available. Google may also provide a profile image; Apple does not provide profile images to apps. We keep your plan, legal acceptance, and usage records needed to operate the standalone mobile service.

Live Audio

Microphone audio is sent directly to Soniox using a short-lived credential to provide live transcription and translation. Spoken translations are also generated by Soniox when that feature is on. Android's on-device voice may be used as a connection fallback.

Storage

Account and usage records are stored in Google Cloud. Oye Convo uses its own account tokens and does not use Firebase Authentication. Account tokens are encrypted on the Android device using the Android Keystore.

Diagnostics

When something fails, the app sends a diagnostic report with a random report reference, app and operating-system version, device model, the part of the app that failed, technical error details, and a short sequence of app states. A session or installation identifier may be included so related failures can be grouped. Diagnostic reports never include conversation audio, transcripts, translations, passwords, sign-in tokens, email addresses, or other text you enter.

Why We Use Data

We use this data to sign you in, provide translation, enforce plan limits, support billing, protect the service, diagnose and fix reliability problems, and meet legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your audio, transcripts, translations, or account data. We share data only with service providers that are needed to provide and secure Oye Convo, including Google for native account sign-in and cloud infrastructure, Soniox for speech processing, and the relevant app store for purchases.

Your Choices

You can sign out at any time. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your Oye Convo account data.
